International Rescue

We may need to be rescued. In January 2007 my wife Wendy and I moved home from Lincolnshire to Essex, from a 6 bedroomed house to a 2 bedroomed bungalow. When first seen we nicknamed the bungalow "Joe 90" due to its quirky 60s architectural style. In fact it has since been more correctly named "Tracy Island" as it better resembles the 'Thunderbird's HQ'. This blog will try to document the trials and tribulations from initial viewing, buying, through to renovating the strange little building.

WE HAVE MOVED IN !

Whilst it all began over 2 years ago, when we both chose to move house, I shall begin here having 'moved in' to "Tracy Island". Now we have spent three nights under our 'flat roof'. The vintage 'Baxi Bermuda' gas boiler seems to work, and we are warm. Two Yorkshire Terriers - Bonnie and Daisy are quiet. Our large black cat - Holly is fast asleep. Wendy is unpacking another box - and I'm casting my mind back to where it first began.
